Library
The school library houses approximately 12,000 books alongside audio-visual materials such as CD-ROMs and DVDs tailored for various age groups. Ample seating is available for children to enjoy reading within the library's confines.
- Maintaining a hushed atmosphere is essential within the library premises.
- With the exception of notebooks and diaries used for library records, students are prohibited from bringing their own books into the library.
- It is mandatory to return library books on or before the specified due date; otherwise, a fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book will be imposed for any delays.
- Renewal of books is possible for an additional week, subject to availability and demand.
- The librarian retains the authority to recall books from students at any time, even before the designated due date.
- Prior to exiting the library, students must meticulously inspect borrowed books. Any marks or damages should be promptly reported to the librarian.
- In case of a lost book, immediate replacement or appropriate compensation is required. Fines will be incurred for damaged books.
- Reference materials like dictionaries and encyclopedias are strictly for in-library use and cannot be taken home.
- Without prior approval from the librarian, no books, magazines, or newspapers are to be removed from the library premises.
- Library book issuance ceases 30 days prior to the end of the academic year for inventory purposes and verification.
